Big third quarter propels Tigers past La Crescent

A thirty-point third quarter propelled Lake City past La Crescent-Hokah 61-28 Friday night as Colter Hegge accounted for six touchdowns to power the Tigers to a second consecutive victory to open the season.

Alex Ratz opened the scoring for the Tigers with a six-yard touchdown run, capping a 12-play, 75-yard drive on the initial offensive possession for Lake City. The Lancers would tie the game at six early in the second quarter on a 42-yard punt return for a touchdown.
