City Council special meeting to address state bonding proposal

Lake City City Councilmembers will have a special meeting Monday, Sept. 18, to discuss whether the city should submit a request for state bonding money in the 2018 cycle.
City officials presented potential projects to members of the House of Representatives Capital Investment Committee Sept. 5. The city was eyeing the 2020 bonding cycle for the projects.
Some legislators urged the city not to wait so long.
