Five year journey ends with fountain dedication

Five years of planning, advocating, fundraising, and waiting came to an end Thursday, June 16, with the ceremonial ribbon cutting and dedication of the new interactive fountain at Ohuta Beach in Lake City.

Water jets embedded in the concrete spray when activated by a sensor on a yellow pedestal at the edge of the fountain. The fountain can be disabled when the space is needed for events.
