Letter: Interpretive Centre and arts center can coexist

To the editor:

There are several positive things happening in Lake City and it’s time for an update on a few of them.

As you may know, the Lake Pepin Interpretive Center and arts boards were going down a path to possibly occupy the same building together. When it was determined that this wasn’t going to happen, the two groups agreed to each pursue their own goals. Both groups remain supportive of the other’s vision and efforts to attain their goals. Lake City can have both an arts center and a Lake Pepin Interpretive Center.
