Letter: Jazz concert was entertaining
This past Saturday evening I attended the Lake City High School spring jazz concert. Wow: a three letter word to sum up an extraordinary event.
One had to be there to fully appreciate the dynamic energy and talent that performed.
Director Eric Stashek, in his leadership style, made the concert about the performers through his recognition of individual players and his moving to the side of the stage during numbers being played. The sound produced was brilliant and clear.
