Letter: Ski jump, city planning could address Lake City's shrinking, aging population

To the editor:

Two topics, separate but related. Both in my opinion, having significant potential to help reverse Lake City’s population decline and the increasing average age of those of us that live here.

First – Tonight (Thursday, July 13) at 7 p.m. a public presentation regarding “Baldy125”, the Olympic caliber ski jump proposed for Mt. Frontenac, takes place at St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, in the gathering space. Parking is behind the church, which is located on Lyon Ave in Lake City.
