Pass It On Thrift Shop and Lake City Area Arts collaborate to help fund junior high solo festival
Pass It On Thrift shop and Lake City Area Arts joined other donors to make the first Lake City Junior High solo festival a reality, according to a news release from the organizations.
Held May 25 at Lincoln High School, the festival gave 74 Lake City band students in grades six through nine the opportunity to perform a solo (or two in the case of percussionists) with an accompanist in front of an experienced judge who provided feedback on their performance.
