Pass It On Thrift Shop donates $1,500 for Lake City Nordic uniforms, skis, and boots
No one in Minnesota would have expected no snow on the ground on the last day of January.
Yet that’s how it was when I met up with the Lake City Nordic team in the front of Lincoln High School on Jan. 31, 2024.
I was there to see the team’s new uniforms and equipment, which our Pass It On Thrift Shop helped to purchase with a donation of $1,500.
Even without a white snowy background, the bold design of the uniforms stood out from the green turf we were standing on.
