Sportsman’s Club puts funds, effort toward Governor’s Fishing Opener
The Lake City Sportsman’s Club has contributed $1,500 to the Governor’s Fishing Opener that will take place May 9–11 in Lake City, the Lake City Chamber of Commerce said in a news release.
The Governor’s Fishing Opener is being organized by the Lake City Chamber of Commerce and their role is to host over 45 media outlets for the duration of the event.
Besides the donation, the Lake City Sportsman’s Club has had a heavy hand in the planning efforts and will be hosting the Shorelunch for the invitees, according to the Chamber.
