Board approves excavator purchase despite bid concerns

After additional discussion and consideration, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners has decided to move ahead with the purchase of a new 2018 John Deere 160 GLC excavator from RDO Equipment Company and dispose of a 2004 Case CX 130 with 6,400 hours in trade or equipment sale by auction.

This action was taken at the County Board meeting on Feb. 6. All Commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
