Boys come up just short against soccer conference power Byron

The boys soccer program faced off against the Stewartville Tigers and Byron Bears last week.

Varsity won 6-0 against Stewartville on Tuesday. Justin Wohlers and Riley Banks scored their first varsity goals. Aidan Palmer added one goal and Jon Harvey scored three goals.

Varsity went on to play the strongest team in the conference on Thursday when they hosted Byron at home. The Varsity team couldn’t quite pull out a win with a final score of 1-2. Thomas Brand scored for Lake City.
