Butanes to perform at WideSpot

The Butanes, one of the great blues outfits nationally, returns to WideSpot on Sept. 22 for a concert of music.  Led by Curt Obeda, the Butanes have played behind countless legends, both in the Twin Cities as well as at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, where they backed Earl King. They’ve been making music together for over 30 years.
The band has won numerous awards, including City Pages Best Blues Band award in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
