City moves forward with rebranding

The Lake City City Council has taken a step toward adopting a new brand developed by Maly Marketing for the Lake City Economic Development Authority (EDA).

At its July 9 meeting, the council voted to approve a scope-of-work agreement with Maly Marketing to develop designs based on Maly Marketing’s work for the EDA, but tailored for the city’s use.

“The goal is to present a cohesive, consistent look across city government that connects with other community organizations,” the company wrote in its proposal.
