County Board votes to use up to $1 million for broadband expansion

At their regular meeting on Sept. 7, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners voted 3-1 in favor of investing up to $1 million of the Federal American Rescue Funds (ARF) to Broadband (Internet) projects.

Commissioner Don Springer was absent. County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly were present, along with Board Chair Cheryl Key, Brian Goihl, Mike Wobbe and Bob Walkes.
