Meeting on Frontenac Station on-site septic systems is Monday

Florence Township officials and citizens will meet Monday, Sept. 20, to hear a presentation on a study finding that either 85 or 87 of 91 sub-surface treatment systems (SSTS, also referred to as septic systems) are out of compliance.

A summary of the report MSA Professional Services published online says 87 systems are out of compliance, while a public notice announcing the Sept. 20 meeting puts that figure at 85.
