Rochester man drowns after wading into Lake Pepin

The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s office has identified the body recovered from Lake Pepin near Long Point July 20 as 56-year-old Ronald John Highet of Rochester, Minn., according to a news release from the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office.

Highet’s body was recovered a day after he reportedly went missing after wading into the lake.
