Anna May Duden obituary

Anna May Duden, of Lake City, Minn., passed away at Hastings Senior Health and Living, surrounded by her family. She was 96 years old.
She was born on February 21, 1927 to William and Adele Roschen in Lake City. She married William Grobe, Jr. and together they raised their three children on the family farm in Lake City. She was a gifted seamstress, quilter and loved to crochet. She loved arts and crafts and was an avid card player. Anna May was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Lake City and participated in bible studies and Ladies Aide. She was also member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Lake City Senior Citizens Group.
Anna May was preceded in death by her husbands, William Grobe Jr., Harry Duden, and Kenneth Sutherland; sons, Dennis and Duane Grobe; granddaughter, Stacy Wise Egan; parents, William and Adele Roschen; brothers, Dallas, Harold, Carl and Kenneth Roschen.
She is survived by her daughter, Darliss (Dick) Wise; grandchildren, Kristin (Kyle) Ehmke, Michael (Mary) Wise, Sarah (Ben) Schwieger, Darin (Kathy) Grobe; 12 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 520 W. Chestnut St., Lake City. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery in Lake City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
