Julayne Arneson Obituary

Julayne “Joey” Arneson, 67, of Lake City, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Lake City Care Center.
    She was born on June 15, 1949 to Clifford and Eldred (Neiss) Arneson in Cresco, Iowa. Joey grew up in Harmony, Minn. In 1967, she graduated from Harmony High School. After graduation, she attended Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa then attended Winona State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in sociology.  Joey moved to Lake City in 2003.  Joey had great faith in the Lord.
    She is survived by her sister, Irene Hildestad of Harmony; and nephew, Mike (Shanna) Hildestad of Apple Valley, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents.
    A Celebration of her Life will be Sunday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at the Lake City Care Center. Burial will be at Greenfield Lutheran Cemetery in Harmony.
