Mary Brayton Obituary

Mary “Mare” Brayton, 71, of Dundas died on Monday, May 15, 2017 at her home.
    Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault on Wednesday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
    Mary Ann, the daughter of George and Ruth Ann (Fredenburg) Sargent was born on Oct. 28, 1945 in Northfield. She married Dale Brayton on April 4, 1970 in Lakeville.  She was formerly employed at the Lake City Hospital for 17 years and Walmart photo shop in Faribault for 10 years.
    She is survived by her husband, Dale; three children, Jeffery (Laura) Sargent of Las Vegas, Nev., Laura (Craig) Jones of Dundas and Wesley Brayton (Roxann Jensen) of Lake City; eight grandchildren, Marie, DesiRae, Matthew, Brittany, Tiffany, Layne, Aydann and Landon; eight great-grandchildren, Mikey, Chayton, Hayleigh, Jayla, Kyler, Izayah, Fantaysia and Ryker; one brother, Larry (Joy) Sargent of Northfield; one sister, Linda Sargent (Charles Grassinger) of Faribault; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Jason Sargent; and three siblings, Donald Sargent, Judith (Darrell) Jones and Gertrude Moravec.
