William Dahman obituary

   William McDonald Dahman, age 53, died unexpectedly at home in Minnetonka on November 2, 2021. Born in 1968 in Lake City to Dick and Adair Dahman, William graduated from Lincoln High School; Rochester Community College; Brown Institute, Minneapolis; and Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts, Orlando, Fla. He began his audio-visual career in Los Angeles before returning to work for the Minnesota Timberwolves. William installed and integrated large-scale, audio-visual and broadcast systems nationwide for 27 years as owner of Audio Video Systems. He will be remembered for his quiet, gentle spirit, and the undying love he had for his children.        Preceded in death by father Richard “Dick” Dahman and sister Adair Palmatier. Survived by children Emma and Will Dahman and their mother Kirsten Dahman (Patrick Bergin); mother Adair Dahman (since deceased) and stepfather Horst Radtke; siblings Diane (Tom) Erickson, Kerry (Bill) Laqua, Rich Dahman; brother-in-law Christopher Palmatier; extended family and friends.
    Memorials preferred to William’s children. Celebration of life and interment at a later date.
