Letter: Wabasha County Board is wasting money instead of negotiating fair salaries

To the editor:

We are concerned that the Wabasha County Board is wasting our money.

The lawsuits filed by Denise Anderson and Karrie Kelly are requesting the board to explain the reasons they have set their salaries at the level they have.

It appears from the data provided in court that the raises received by them are a fraction of what is paid to nonelected, nonunion employees of the County.

The board members have testified that they are not concerned with Anderson’s or Kelly’s performance of their jobs.
