Bany hits scoring milestone in 64-25 victory over Kenyon-Wanamingo

The Lake City High School girls basketball team beat Kenyon-Wanamingo 64-25 on the road Feb. 9.

Both teams started slow offensively.

The Knights scored first with a three-pointer, but Mya Shones answered with a quick bucket of her own.

The Knights would take a 7-4 lead over the Tigers with 14 minutes left in the first half, but Shones would cut that lead to just one again with another basket in the paint.
