Lake City skiers race in Minneapolis
The first ski meet of the new year for the Lake City cross country (XC) ski team brought balmy weather and a January thaw to skiers at Theodore Wirth last Tuesday. The annual combined race between the Minneapolis Conference and Twin Cities Nordic Ski Conference (TCNSC) pitted 16 teams together for a 5 kilometer skate technique mush fest up and down the hills of Wirth. The event faced off some of the states toughest teams and individuals in the combined event.
