Spring trap shooting season concludes

“Weather presented challenges through most of the spring session for the 39 members of the Lake City High School Trap Team” said Head Coach Ross Freiheit. “But they faced down the challenges each Saturday morning and shot through the wind, rain and cold , experiencing a good and fun season.”

Saturday marks the last day of the spring session for the team. But shooting isn’t over for 27 members, as they travel to Alexandria, where they’ll join more than 8,000 high school shooters from 350 schools participating in the state-wide tournament, which runs from June 10 through June 18 .
