Tennis girls defeat Winona Cotter 5-2

The Lake City girls Tiger tennis team traveled to Winona Sept. 12 and squared off with the Cotter Ramblers, winning 5-2.
In singles play, Emma Brunkow stepped into the No. 1 slot and was defeated 0-6, 0-6. At No. 2 Ashley Thieren handled her opponent 6-2, 6-4. Sarah Ziebarth stormed out to a 6-0 first set win at No. 3 and won 7-5 in the second. At No. 4 Kaylee Muenzhuber lost 5-7, 0-6.
