Tiger baseball climbs standings during 3-1 week
The Lake City Tiger varsity baseball team finished the week on a three-game winning streak, earning section wins over Rushford-Peterson (3–1), Goodhue (7–2), and Chatfield (8–3). The Tigers’ lone loss came in a narrow 2–1 rematch against Pine Island.
Monday, April 20 vs. Pine Island
Despite a strong pitching performance from Luke Fleming, Lake City was unable to generate enough offense in a 2–1 loss to defending state champion Pine Island, whom they beat last Thursday.
