100-mile garage sale postponed

The 100-mile garage sale initially scheduled for April 30 through May 3 has been postponed, according to Larry Nielson of Mississippi Valley Partners, which organizes the event.
“We decided this morning (March 30) that with the ‘Stay in Place order’ extended through April and medical experts claiming the pandemic won’t peak until May or possibly later that it would be irresponsible to bring thousands of people together on the first weekend in May,” he said.
Nielson said for now they plan to hold the event Sept. 10-13.
“Hopefully by then life will be closer to normal,” he said.
