About $160,000 in scholarships presented at Lincoln High School Awards Night

About $160,000 in scholarship awards for members of the Lincoln High School Class of 2026 were announced at the Lincoln High School Awards Night on May 13.

Over the course of about two hours that evening, dozens of presenters stepped up to the podium to announce the winners of their respective awards.

At the school board meeting held Monday, May 18, Principal Greg Berge said community support for seniors in the form of scholarships has grown a lot during his time as principal.

“I believe it was around $50,000 when I started as a principal in 2007,” he said in an email.

Photos of presenters and recipients can be viewed here or at the link in the Related Content secion below.

Photos of recipients of academic awards presented at Awards Night will appear in next week’s Graphic.

The Graphic is continuing its tradition of publishing a photo spread featuring the senior photos of the high school graduating class. This year that photo spread will be part of a special section. Look for it in the June 4 issue of the Graphic.

Commencement for the Lincoln High School Class of 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m. in the Lincoln High School Auditorium.
