Duane Holst celebrates 50 years of ordination
First Lutheran Church is honoring retired Pastor Duane Holst as he reaches a milestone this month.
“We congratulate Pastor Duane Holst on his 50th Anniversary of Ordination on Aug. 15,” the church said in a news release. “Though Duane retired from the ministry in January 2023, after 46 years of ministry, he continues to serve various roles at First Lutheran as a member including as a lector, communion assistant, and most recently as a part-time visitation pastor.
