Easter egg hunt returns March 28

The Easter egg hunt in Patton Park is back and bigger than last year.

The candy-filled egg count has grown from over 3,000 to over 5,000. There will again be 100 gold eggs that can be exchanged for prizes.

Egg hunters will be divided into three age groups: 0-3 years, 4-7 years, and 8-12 years.

The Easter Bunny is expected to appear.

Hunt festivities begin Saturday, March 28, at 10:30 a.m. in Patton Park.

Local businesses organized the return of an Easter egg hunt to Lake City last year after a multi-year absence.
