First day an adjustment

A new student drop-off and pick-up lent even more newness to a day filled with new teachers, classmates, and students at Bluff View Elementary on the first day of the new school year, Sept. 4.

The school is in the midst of a $12 million renovation project that will add classrooms, a cafeteria, and a multi-use gymnasium and performance space that will enable the school to provide dedicated space for its pre-school and childcare programs.

The target date to complete the project is the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year.
