Pheasants Forever banquet back after hiatus

The newly-restarted Wabasha County chapter of Pheasants Forever will host its annual banquet Saturday, March 10, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Lake City Sportsman’s Club.

Featuring a steak dinner and lots of raffles, the banquet helps generate money for the chapter’s efforts on behalf of wildlife, said Ken Smith.

In the past the chapter has worked to restore habitat through tree planting, grassland restoration and the establishment of winter feeding plots.

And it’s not just pheasants that benefit, Smith said.
