St. Mark’s shares coronavirus updates

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Lake City would like the public to know that all U.S. Episcopal churches have been asked to cancel services until after Easter, by Bishop Michael Curry.  St. Mark’s will abide by this recommendation and will update parishioners and the community when they will resume their service.  
This will include all of the outreach non-profit organizations who use McNairy Hall for their meetings.  
According to the bishop, when things change St.  Mark’s will update everyone.  
Please join them in prayer for a quick recovery from this pandemic.
St. Mark’s plans to resume their monthly suppers on May 13 unless otherwise determined.
St. Mark’s mission statement is “With God’s help and in Jesus’ name we will strive to honor and serve God, love our neighbors and build God’s church.” We welcome you to join us for our Sunday services when we come back  from this pandemic.
Our services will also resume, following this hiatus, at the Lake City Care Center on the fifth Sunday of every month to include those who live there to join us for a communion service and music by Coleen Fowler. The public is welcome to join this service as they are able.
