Walkers explored prairie plants at Manawa Prairie Farm

Despite a rain delay the group walk for Walking Lake Pepin took place Thursday, July 27 at the Manawa Prairie Farm just east of Lake City.  Dag Knudsen purchased the 40-acre property in the early 1990s with the intent of restoring the land to a native tall grass prairie. The Walking Lake Pepin walkers were able to see how he has succeeded in making his dream come true.
