Council looks at short- and long-term rental rules

The City Council voted on changes to rules governing short- and long-term rental properties in the city.
The council voted to waive the first reading of a new ordinance that makes landlords responsible for utility payments for properties they own. Another vote is required to formally adopt the ordinance.
