Home and commercial building owners can apply now for grants
There’s still some work to do before $809,000 in Small Cities Development Program funds become available for rehabilitation projects on homes and commercial properties in Lake City, but people who think they might be interested in the program can begin the application process now.
Karen DuCharme of Southeastern Minnesota Multi-County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (SEMMCHRA) said screening can begin over the phone and much of the application can be completed over email.
SEMMCHRA applied for and is administering the grant on behalf of the City of Lake City.
