With letter of understanding, plans for downtown hotel move forward

The Lake City Economic Development Authority (EDA) has announced that it has signed a letter of understanding with David Rodewald of City Core related to the development of a hotel project on Block 13 in Lake City.

Of the five parcels on Block 13 that sit between Lakeshore Drive and South Washington Street, Rodewald is the owner of four, and the EDA owns the fifth lot at 303 S. Lakeshore Drive, frequently referred to as the former Conoco property.
