Public safety building opens

It wasn’t quite a house-warming party, but it kind of felt like it Friday as members of the Lake City Police Department and Ambulance Service gave tours to City Council members and others of the city’s new public safety building on 10th street.
The facility officially opened the following Monday and is now home to the Ambulance Service, Police Department and Emergency Operations Center.
