Tigers claim Rotary title with win over Osseo
Lake City finally captured an elusive Rotary Holiday Classic Championship as Reid Gastner scored 18 points to power the Tigers past Osseo 56-43 on Saturday afternoon at the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium.
Jake Wohlers added 17 points, including five triples for the Tigers, who played without Nathan Heise. With less than 24 hours between games, Heise was a precautionary scratch to rest his back injury. Carson Matzke got his first career start and capped the victory by going five of six at the free throw line in the final 1:56.
