Wabasha Commissioners table sheriff's fund request

Sheriff Rodney Bartsh’s request to use squad replacement funds to purchase law enforcement and jail equipment was one item on a brief Wabasha County Board agenda Dec. 1. 

The board met at 4 p.m. instead of their regular morning meeting to accommodate the truth in  taxation hearing later that evening at 6 p.m. 

The agenda was brief and consisted mainly of discussion items.  All commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
