Windhorst-Knudsen takes third in MGA event

Lake City golfer Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen recently competed in the MGA Women’s Amateur Championship on July 27-28 held at Stillwater Country Club.
Windhorst-Knudsen was the youngest player in the field at age 14.  She played in the First Flight at a distance of 5,675 yards.
On day one, Windhorst-Knudsen fired a solid 82 highlighted by birdies on holes 15, 16 and 18 coming in which put her in fourth place in a flight with 15 players.
On day two, Windhorst-Knudsen carded an 84 and moved up to third place in First Flight.
