Long-time Santa, Mrs. Claus continue holiday tradition

John Lewis has played Santa for 34 years. On Saturday, Dec. 12, he donned the red suit and, with his wife Marie playing Mrs. Claus by his side, greeted families at a Santa drive-by event on North High Street. Because of COVID-19 the Claus’s stayed inside a truck decorated with antlers and other decorations. Children could drop letters to Santa in a waiting mailbox and pick up a bag of treats.
