Lake City baseball beats Zumbrota-Mazeppa 12-6
Bats were blistered as the Lake City Tigers defeated Zumbrota-Mazeppa 12-6 on April 12.
Zumbrota-Mazeppa finished the first inning with three runs to grab an early lead. Lake City answered with one run in the top of the second inning.
The Tigers varsity pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third, Justin Wohlers doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run. Ben Nutt doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. Dylan Rumley singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
