Tiger baseball loses high-scoring game to Kenyon-Wanamingo

Lake City Tigers varsity baseball lost 11-8 to Kenyon-Wanamingo (KW) on Thursday, May 13.

KW put 8 runs on the board in the second inning on 9 hits in the inning including a long home run by Owen Hilke.

Lake City notched five runs in the fifth inning. Lake City big bats in the inning were led by singles by Riley Forbes and Dylan Rumley, a double by Johan Zorn, and an error on a ball put in play by Zach Dather. In the sixth inning the Tigers added two more runs and had the bases loaded as Forbes hit a soft liner to end the inning.
