Wohlers’ two homers not enough as Tigers fall to Cannon Falls
The Lake City High School baseball team fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 4-3 loss to Cannon Falls on Saturday, May 22.
Cannon Falls scored on a fielder’s choice by Beau Zimmerman, a groundout by Loden Bell, and a passed ball during Marcus Banks’s at bat in the first inning.
Riley Miller pitched Cannon Falls to victory. The lefty lasted six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out eight. Zimmerman threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
