Enthusiasm around Fishing with the Fuzz

The Lake City Police Department is looking forward to Saturday, Aug. 14, and the first annual Fishing with the Fuzz event.

From 9 a.m. to noon about three dozen children will fish in the Lake City Marina with members of the Lake City Police Department.

A Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conservation officer will go over some fishing and boating safety information with participants.

After the fishing, the young anglers will have a lunch of hot dogs, chips, and pop.
