Police: First Fishing with the Fuzz went great
The Lake City Police Department is very pleased with how its first annual Fishing with the Fuzz event went Saturday, Aug. 14.
“It went really great,” Lake City Police Sgt. Bill Weist said. “We had great weather and a great turn-out. We are already looking forward to next year.”
Children fished alongside Lake City Police staff for a few hours in the morning before having grilled hot dogs and chips for lunch.
Prizes were awarded in different fishing categories and for casting prowess.
