Girls’ defense stellar against Chatfield
On Jan. 31 the Lake City Tiger girls basketball team hit the road to Chatfield for a non-conference matchup against the Gophers.
The Tigers were looking at keeping their winning streak going. Chatfield won the opening tip-off but both teams were not able to get a basket to drop on their first possessions.
Then came some great defense by the Tigers. Natalie Bremer grabbed a steal and took it down for 2 to put the Tigers on the board.
Chatfield responded with a basket of their own to tie up the game.
