Updated: Twelve running for school board

Twelve candidates had filed to run for four available Lake City School Board seats in the Nov. 8 election.
Ten candidates filed for the three four-year openings on the board.
Two filed to run for the special election to fill out the remaining two years of the seat won by Jack Rol in 2020. Rol resigned in 2021 and Patrick Dwelle was appointed to the seat until the next general election.
