The Lake City Planning Commission made a commitment to communicate our 2016 work plan and share community successes on our downtown and waterfront renaissance initiatives. Outlined below are highlights of our work plan as well as community progress on major strategies.
Our work plan is as follows:
• Complete our update of the comprehensive plan (two chapters remaining)
• Be proactive on the planning side of addressing shore land maintenance with a focus on Highway 61 scenic by-way the runs the length of Lake City
